The Food Festival in Tuscany of Amiata is now at its fourth edition. Centered on the evaluation of the less known places in Amiata, the event points to move out the classical touristic crowds from the traditional goals and to direct them towards historical, naturalistic and cultural regions of the most inner heart of Tuscany, through the flavours, the colours and the secrets of the territory.

So the task of the Food Festival of Amiata is to create a net of services in the enogastronomic field, putting together restaurants, shops, boutiques and all those who create a food and beverage offer on the territory.

All this actors meet in the comune they live in to make it beautiful and rich and full of opportunities. They create a new way of life not only for the visitor, but for the inhabitant too. A great quality of life. The greatest in Tuscany.

So in the weekends of May, June and November every kind of enogastronomic event will be set on Amiata: on May 16th at the Faunistic Park, to taste herbs and omelettes; on May 23rd in Abbadia San Salvatore, for the old miner's food; on May 23rd in Castel del Piano and Montenero, Wines and Cellars; June the 6th Pici and Cazzagnoli (hand made pasta) in Radicofani; June 13th Oil and Art in Seggiano, June 20th Berries and Wood Fruits at Campiglia d'Orcia with a special theatre and food show; June 27th Jump, Play and Dance on the Green Mountain (a special day for the children); on September 12th Bread and Bagles in Roccalbegna; on October 17th in Santa Fiora an itinerary of the waters; on October 24 th , in Castell'Azzara, Milk and Cheese; on October 31 st Mushrooms and Chestnuts in Piancastagnaio; on November 28 th Olive Oil in Semproniano. On December 2nd, great final party for the conclusion of the event.
